Finally here!

LAX -> Houston -> Paris -> Dusseldorf -> Bonn

semi-overcast 22 °C

DSCN0126.jpgDSCN0127.jpgDSCN0133.jpgSo we finally made it... and john just had to wait 4 hours in the baggage claim for me..haha..jk
Also i never went through immigration at the airport so i think i did something wrong.

After we got to dusseldorf we took a train to bonn which i have no idea how we figured it out since everything was in german.
Once we got the tickets we got on the train with a total of 4 big bags an our 2 backpacks and getting on the train and off was like a mash pit. We literally got pushed by everyone including old ladies. We were exhausted..

When we got to the bonn train station we walked a few blocks and we got to the school. Then we met the people in charge there and then olaf..our "RA" of the apartments came to meet us and then tok us to the apartment.

The apartments are about 20 min walking distance....but we took the subway (Which are brand new and in my opinion amazing) Then once we get off the subway the apartments are a block away.

Here is were it gets interesting.. We ended up getting a room in the first floor with a balcony facing a CONSTRUCTION building... meaning we woke up at 6am today to the sound of trucks and constructionnn about an inch from our room....
horrribleee!!!

Anyways we super complained (you know how much a cherish sleep, right mom) and after a whole day of getting to know the city and buying adapters etc we got back and the RA , Olaf, managed to get us another room that is 10x better...

Anyways tonight we are eating with the rest of the group that is arriving soon and then we are getting our subway passes and our food stamps (which turns out to be 100 + euros a week) pretty convinient.

beso
